And much like in Billiards you also learn to use your environments to your advantage as they also play a role in momentum, like when you push a bolder in one section it can bank of the walls and hit many enemies stationed in that section.
The boulders your able to position them where you want them then to kick them so they can roll toward you enemies to squash them, but you can also bump some of the other boulders you create doubling the momentum power, as well as ride them if you want to get toward another section.
And that's the joy of the game using the physics of momentum to your advantage. But of course the game play which is great, you characters are armed with ice powers much like Elsa from "Frozen" you shoot your enemies with snowballs making them into snow boulders, with these boulders the whole game becomes one big Billiards table. Even like the designs of the enemies and bosses whom are all odd looking from big headed walking demons/devils including giant ones and a boss that is a giant head literally, you just must see to believe, most derived from Asian Mythology and Folklore. Really like the designs of the characters from the looks of the snow brothers whom are kind of cute looking as their walking snowmen much like Olaf from "Frozen" only difference you can kick some butt. Music is also good and memorable, fits the playful nature of the game. I really love the designs of the levels, each of them is unique and have a sort of Asian theme to them. With every contained platform action game, we're in it for the action and it's got plenty of it. That's it in a nutshell, it's a cliché plotline but these types of games were never really known much for plot and story anyway, though on a side note there is a bit more story on this game in the NES port which in my book is one of the best ports. Why the heck the sorcerer thought turning the heroes into snowmen would work to his advantage is beyond me, though also kind of stupid as both Nick and Tom have ice powers or mutant abilities. Not much in plot except some evil sorcerer has kidnapped you girlfriends for one reason or another and has cursed two brothers transforming them into snowmen, now you as either Nick or Tom have to go in and save them. From its format which is like "Bubble Bobble" and another out there it doesn't seem like anything special but it's really in its execution that makes it cool (no pun intended). This is another one of my favorite video games of all time, it's also my favorite of the contained platform action game sub-genre.
